Bluesky is one of the social media platforms developed by those who left X/Twitter after Elon Musk took over the platform, and is seen as one of the social media platforms that introduces many new features, but also still maintains a timeline that is not so tainted by algorithms and artificial intelligence.
However, things seem to be changing with the introduction of Attie, a digital assistant based on agentic artificial intelligence that will help users on the platform to build custom timelines using user input.
The use of Attie's agentic AI will allow users to display custom timelines through "natural conversations" and not just using context menus. According to Jay Graber, Bluesky's Chief Innovation Officer, this agentic AI will allow users to customize their timelines in more detail and according to the given context.
In the meantime, Attie will also be offered separately from the Bluesky platform via the Attie.ai link and is currently in a closed beta testing phase, and can only be accessed by invitation for now. It also means that you don't have to use this AI assistant if you don't want to or don't care to use it.
