Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne in 1976, and is now one of the world’s largest consumer technology brands, known for products such as the Mac computer, iPod digital audio player, iPhone smartphone and more.
This year marks the company’s 50th anniversary, and to celebrate the anniversary, the Mimms Museum of Technology and Arts will host the exhibition iNSPIRE: 50 Years of Innovation from Apple in Roswell, Georgia, which will open on April 1, 2026, 50 years after the company was incorporated as a business and its first desktop computer, the Apple 1, was introduced.
The exhibit will feature more than 2,000 products and artifacts from the company’s founding, from original company registration documents, to products introduced over the past 50 years in a 20,000-square-foot space.
It is one of the largest exhibitions of Apple products and artifacts to date, second only to the All About Apple Museum in Italy. Speaking of museums, another Apple museum will open in Utrecht, Netherlands on April 1, also in conjunction with Apple's 50th anniversary.
Hard to believe it's been 50 years since the three of us signed Apple into existence. The Apple‑1 and Apple II were just the beginning, and watching the journey since has been extraordinary. Proud to have played my part. #Apple50 @FastCompany pic.twitter.com/ceH0WjqCkz

In the meantime, one of the company's founders, Ronald Wayne, has also tweeted on X recently, recalling the memory of registering the company 50 years ago.
