boAt, an Indian-origin audio company, announced its entry into the Malaysian market today, 30 March 2026, as part of its international expansion in Southeast Asia. The expansion is being done through a partnership with Opptra to help consumer brands achieve global growth in the digital landscape.
The increasing demand for value-oriented and high-quality personal audio devices, driven by trends in mobile usage, content streaming, and hybrid lifestyles, is positioning boAt to penetrate the rapidly growing Malaysian market.
boAt will introduce its popular product portfolio, including TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earphones, headphones, and powerbanks, including the premium Nirvana series. The three main products launched in Malaysia are the Nirvana IVY Pro earphones with Dolby Atmos spatial audio and active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 52dB.
Next up is the Nirvana Ion Wireless, designed for all-day use with a battery life of up to 120 hours. Finally, there is the EnergyShroom PB400 20,000 mAh powerbank with support for three charging ports.
These products are now available on major e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, and will soon be available on Lazada and TikTok Shop.
