OpenAI has now offered two more new models for ChatGPT, namely GPT-5.4 Mini and Nano, offering better capabilities, especially for programming, reasoning, and multi-modal understanding. Interestingly, GPT-5.4 Mini can also be used by users of the free version of ChatGPT.
OpenAI is said to want to put more focus on programming capabilities, and it seems that they have started to implement it through the latest GPT model.
Along with the offering for free users, GPT-5.4 Mini has also been offered via API and Codex.
