The Malaysian government will discuss the implementation of working from home (WFH) for civil servants in a special cabinet meeting tomorrow. This is to coordinate government actions and reduce unnecessary expenses. The war in Iran that was started by the United States and Israel two weeks ago has caused WFH to be considered not only by the government but also by private companies to reduce the burden of staff travel costs.
As a result, the global economy has been affected and global oil prices have increased due to oil supplies not being allowed through the Strait of Hormuz by Iran. Several ships that tried to violate the sanctions have already been attacked using missiles. The short-term effects that can already be seen are the increase in the price of RON95 without subsidy, RON97 and Diesel which are now sold at more than RM3 per liter.

Meanwhile, in Myanmar, the government has ordered the use of vehicles to work in shifts.
