Huawei Malaysia also introduced the FreeBuds Pro 5, a new wireless earphone with an oval-shaped charging pod. The design of the earphones uses a Star-Ring Diamond Cut that gives a premium touch while the stem is decorated with a gold finish with HUAWEI SOUND branding to add an exclusive element.
The FreeBuds Pro 5 uses a dual-driver audio system that combines an ultra-linear bass unit with a double magnetic circuit and a thin micro-planar tweeter. It is also equipped with a dual-channel ANC system that is capable of producing inverted sound waves to reduce noise with performance up to three times better than the previous generation.
These earphones support the AAC/SBC/LDAC/L2HC codec and are equipped with Huawei NearLink, Huawei's special technology for lossless audio support reaching 4.6Mbps. Battery life can be up to 9 hours without ANC and 6 hours with ANC activated. In addition, the FreeBuds Pro 5 comes with an IP67 rating to provide protection from dust and water.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 is now officially available in Malaysia at a price of RM699. It comes in three premium color options, namely White, Gold and Grey.
