Huawei today introduced the Mate 80 Pro in Malaysia. The main focus of this device lies on the improved camera system, more durable construction and upgraded hardware for a more stable daily experience.
The Mate 80 Pro comes with a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000nits peak brightness. It is paired with a Kirin 9030 Pro chip with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage which is large enough for daily use and multitasking.
The rear camera system consists of a 50 MP Ultra Lighting main camera with an adjustable aperture of F1.4–F4.0 and OIS, a 40 MP ultra-wide and a 48 MP macro telephoto (OIS). The front camera has a 13 MP wide-angle resolution with video recording up to 4K.
The Huawei Mate 80 Pro is equipped with a 5750 mAh battery that supports HUAWEI SuperCharge 100W fast charging, while wireless charging reaches up to 80W with dedicated accessories. The device also comes with an IP68/IP69 rating for protection against water and dust. In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and runs the EMUI 15.0 operating system.
The Mate 80 Pro is offered in Malaysia at a price of RM3,999. For early pre-orders, buyers will receive free gifts worth up to RM2,115 including a Huawei MatePad 11.5 (worth RM1299) and Huawei Premium Service (RM816).
