Meta today acquired Moltbook, a social platform built specifically for agent-based AI using OpenClaw. It has been gaining popularity in the past few weeks, with people flocking to Moltbook to see what the various AI bots on the platform are talking about.
The developer and founder of Moltbook will also join the Meta Superintelligence Labs team. It is said that the development of Moltbook is an interesting way to demonstrate communication between various AIs under one roof, and at the same time show that they can interact harmoniously with each other.
At the moment, it is not yet known how Moltbook will be integrated into the Meta family. However, it complements Meta's products, focusing on the social platform.
Previously, OpenAI acquired OpenClaw, whose founder joined the artificial intelligence company.
