Nothing Headphone (a) was also launched today and is a more affordable model than Headphone (1). What makes it interesting is definitely the choice of brighter colors but still maintaining the iconic Nothing design and excellent battery life.
It comes with 40mm drivers made of titanium and plastic materials for the main components such as the ear cups. There are transparent elements and finishes in black, white, pink and yellow. The entire headphone weighs 310g which is also lighter than Headphone (1) which weighs 329g. Headphone (a) passes the IP52 splash-proof standard.
There is an ANC system powered by four microphones with three levels of strength. For those who are not fond of ANC, it can be turned off and there is a transparent mode when needed. The audio adjustment control buttons, ANC and music skip paddle are all in physical form. One of the buttons can also be programmed to be a camera remote control.
The 1060 mAh battery provides up to 135 hours of usage without ANC and 75 hours with ANC. The headphones support popular codecs ACC, SBC and LDAC. In LDAC mode, the battery operates for 90 hours without ANC and 62 hours with ANC. If you want a physical connection, a 3.5mm cable can be used and is included with the purchase.
The selling price and when it will enter the Malaysian market have not been announced but this will be announced on April 1.
