As previously announced, NVIDIA launched NemoClaw at GTC this morning as a competitor to OpenClaw. It is an AI agent that can perform various tasks with an emphasis on higher levels of security and privacy allowing it to be used by the enterprise sector. NVIDIA says that NemoClaw was developed in collaboration with OpenClaw creator Peter Steinberger.
NemoClaw adds enterprise-grade security systems, tighter data controls, and better agent behavior management. Although OpenClaw has been viral for the past few months, there have been several serious incidents of data leaks and agents performing tasks outside of their original instructions.
Like OpenClaw, NemoClaw is offered as open source and does not require users to own an NVIDIA GPU. Various AI models and agents can also be used. At this point, NemoClaw is still in the Alpha stage with NVIDIA saying that they are still in the process of developing it to function better.
