Also announced today is the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition, a special model that comes in red with the iconic Marvel superhero pattern. This edition is the result of a collaboration between POCO and Marvel with the aim of combining modern technology with bold design.
The device is inspired by one of the famous black and gold shields produced by Stark Industries. The body comes in black with a shiny gold stripe while the sparkle in the middle resembles the ‘Arc Reactor’. The design based on the gold shield provides interesting details and highlights the futuristic style. In addition, this special edition is also equipped with a specially designed Iron Man-themed interface. Every time the device is turned on, an Iron Man animation will appear, providing a unique user experience.
In terms of specifications, it shares most of the hardware with the Pro version. Among them is a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. In addition, it is also equipped with LiquidCool Technology cooling system with POCO 3D Dual-layer Iceloop Cooling and WildBoost Optimization to ensure stable performance.
The 6500mAh battery comes with 100W fast charging support and 27W reverse charging. In terms of cameras, it offers a 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide and 20MP selfie camera. Other additional features include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, IP66/68/69/69K waterproofing, a stereo audio system with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support, and NFC support.
The Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition is sold in Malaysia at RM1899 with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is also offered as a limited edition.
