Samsung Galaxy S26 Series in Malaysia Can Now Use Apple AirDrop

Samsung Malaysia has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra in Malaysia will start receiving an update to support Apple AirDrop today. This update was finally given to the Galaxy S26 in Malaysia a few hours ago with a download size of 868.11 MB. For owners of other Samsung devices, this update will be given in stages.

Sending files to iPhones, iPads and macOS computers can be done by selecting the Quick Share sharing system. Apple devices that want to receive files need to change the AirDrop setting to “all” before files can be sent using the AirDrop protocol.

At the time of writing, Quick Share on the updated Galaxy S26 Ultra has no problem sending files to our own iPhones, iPads and MacBooks. At the same time, files from iPhones, iPads and MacBooks can also be sent to the Galaxy S26 Ultra using the AirDrop menu.

This feature was given by Google to the Pixel 10 series only last year with them confirming that it will be received by all Android devices by the end of 2026.
