Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold Sales Reportedly Halted in Korea

Sales of the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold have reportedly been halted in South Korea starting today. This comes three months after it was launched in the country's market. It is estimated that since its launch, 3,000 units of the Z Trifold have been sold in South Korea. There, sales only open every 1-2 weeks with the entire stock then selling out.

Although sales of the Z Trifold have been halted in South Korea, the device will continue to be sold in the United States until it runs out of stock. This is because the device was sold later than in South Korea. The Z Trifold is Samsung's first tri-fold screen device and since the beginning it was marketed in limited quantities.

There is no reason why sales were halted after only three months. But it is most likely because with the rising cost of components, it is no longer profitable to sell it at 3,590,400 won per unit. If this news is true, it will certainly disappoint those who are waiting for its official launch in Malaysia.
