Samsung will launch its first widescreen foldable device this year, according to a report from China. Unlike the previous Z Fold, this device will have a 4:3 screen ratio when unfolded. Rumors say the screen will be 7.6″, making it more similar to the Huawei Pura X2 that previously popularized this unique screen ratio.
Samsung may launch this device this year so that it is earlier to the market than the iPhone Ultra, which is also rumored to have a wide folding screen. Various speculations about this device are heard that it is more comfortable to use as a tablet.
Despite dominating the global foldable screen device market, Samsung has not yet managed to become the foldable device of choice for the majority of users. The higher price factor and the camera capabilities are not as good as regular devices are the reasons for this.
