I grew up in the 80s and my favorite animated series was Transformers. It was cool to see trucks, radios, guns, tanks, and dinosaurs transform into robots. In the real world, this is not yet a reality, but 2-in-1 products are commonplace. The Pixelpaw Phase is a two-in-one product that is a mouse that can transform into a game controller.
In mouse mode, the Phase has a 16,000 DPI optical sensor and a touchpad on the click button instead of a scroll wheel. When folded in half, the Phase becomes a game controller with 18 buttons including 2x analog, digital, face, and shoulder buttons needed for video game models.
Pixelpaw also sells a Phasegri holder that allows the controller to be placed on the left and right sides with a smartphone in the middle. The project is currently raising funds through the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, selling for $115 (~RM 452) each.
