In January, WhatsApp's plan to offer a premium subscription plan was leaked. Today, WABetainfo revealed that it will be launched as WhatsApp Plus with several features that make the subscription more worthwhile to use.
WhatsApp Plus subscribers will receive the option to change the app icon. A total of 15 app icons can be seen in various color options. They can also pin 20 chat messages in the timeline compared to only 3 for free plan users.
There are more theme options, in-app colors, ringtones and exclusive stickers. Ads will also not be displayed in the app. More new features will be added after the service launches.
There is still no information on when WhatsApp Plus will be launched or the monthly fee to use it. WhatsApp Plus will be offered to Android and iOS users.
