The Huawei Watch Buds 2 was launched yesterday, bringing back a pair of wireless earphones built into the body. It comes three years after the original Huawei Watch Buds were launched. The watch is equipped with a 1.5” AMOLED screen, 466×466 pixels with a brightness of up to 3000 nits.
The body is made of durable titanium with a watch strap made of leather, fluorine rubber or titanium. The sensors included are an accelerometer, optical heart rate monitor and light. This provides detection of sleep apnea, AFib, high blood pressure and irregular heart rhythm.
Meanwhile, the earphones weigh 4 grams with a built-in ANC system. They pass the IP54 waterproof standard. They can work for 3 hours with ANC and 4 hours without ANC. Due to their symmetrical design, the earphones can be installed in either ear without having to look at the left or right side.
In China, the Huawei Watch Buds 2 went on sale on April 25 at a price of RMB 3488 (~RM 2024) for the black and brown colors and RMB 3988 (~RM 2314) for the titanium version.
