OpenAI Now Available for Trial Through Amazon Bedrock

A day after the end of OpenAI's exclusive agreement with Microsoft, this morning AWS announced the availability of OpenAI through the Amazon Bedrock Managed Agents service. This is good news for existing AWS users because through it, AWS users can now continue to launch various AI agents that can help their service efficiency.

Through this agreement worth USD 50 Billion, OpenAI will be widely used, including the availability of Codex for AWS users. In fact, with this agreement, the advancement of AI technology will be able to drive all parties involved in it. In addition to OpenAI, which is the developer of ChatGPT, Amazon is also investing in Anthropic, which is responsible for developing Claude.

At the AWS What's Next event, AWS also shared several AI agent developments such as Amazon Connect Talent, which is able to handle job interviews and set appropriate appointment times in addition to providing transcripts of conversations during interviews. Amazon Connect Health is an AI agent that can help hospitals and clinics in handling patient records, from patient health history, to transcripts of conversations between patients and doctors.

With the arrival of OpenAI on AWS services, this somewhat opens up more advancements both for AI development, as well as the companies, developers, and enterprises that will benefit from it in the future.
