A built-in fan and a gaming-focused device are a good match. This is what Redmi is trying to offer with their new model K90 Max which will be coming soon. This device is also an addition to the Redmi K90 series which was first introduced in October 2025.
This device is designed specifically for gaming with a built-in cooling fan. According to Redmi, this cooling system uses an 18.1mm fan with a vertical airflow design that is capable of producing 1.3 times better airflow than other phones with built-in fans. Xiaomi also claims that this system can lower the device's temperature by up to 10°C in 100 seconds during intensive gaming sessions.
Other details of this device include a screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz, which is higher than the RedMagic 11 Pro which offers 144Hz. In addition, it will come with dual-chip support, but full details about the chip have not yet been announced. For reference, the Redmi K90 Pro Max uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
The device also comes with shoulder buttons for a better gaming experience. In addition, there are improvements to touch controls, network stability, and audio to ensure a more immersive gaming experience. The device is scheduled to launch this month.
