Live broadcasting via social platforms has become one of the new norms lately, not to mention with fast internet connections, in addition to various features that make the process easier. Touching on it recently, TikTok stated that in 2025 alone, they saw over 7.2 million live broadcasts through the platform in Malaysia.
This also sees TikTok LIve becoming a unifier between entertainment and entrepreneurship. In addition, at the same time it shows a change in the method of discovery and exploration of new content by Malaysian users, in addition to enabling real-time interaction during live broadcasts.
TikTok also shared that between October 2024 and 2025, over 4.5 million content creators have generated income through TikTok LIVE – including through direct sales on the platform which also focuses on e-commerce.
