The Acer Nitro series of laptops is usually seen as a series of laptops that offer powerful gaming capabilities at a more reasonable price. At this year's Computex Taipei, Acer showed off their Acer Nitro 16 gaming laptop offering that features a combination of AMD processing chips and NVIDIA graphics cards.
This laptop is their first model to come with the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processing chip, which is a laptop processing chip that comes with 3D V-cache memory built into the CPU for better gaming quality.
The processing chip comes with a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070Ti graphics card to drive games on a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a refresh rate of 240Hz for a very beautiful gaming display quality.
In terms of I/O, this laptop is loaded with USB4, HDMI 2.1, a MicroSD card reader and support for WiFi 6E wireless internet networks.
The Acer Nitro 16 laptop will arrive in the Americas and EMEA markets in August 2026.
