Acer Swift Spin 14 AI and Aspire Go 15 Launched with Latest Snapdragon Chips



With Computex coming up next week, computer manufacturers are starting to make early announcements of the products they'll be seeing at the annual event. Acer is introducing two more laptops with the recently announced Snapdragon X2 and Snapdragon C chips.


The Acer Swift Spin 14 AI is the first laptop with a 14” WUXGA IPS that can detect touch and can be rotated 360 degrees. It is offered with a choice of Snapdragon X2 Elite or X2 Plus chips with 80 TOPS of AI processing power, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of SSD storage and a battery that can watch videos continuously for up to 23 hours.


The screen can be used with the Acer Active Stylus 420 with Wacom AES 2.0 technology and detects 4096 levels of pressure. I/O options are 2× USB‑C, 2× USB‑A, HDMI 2.1, and a 100W charging port. There is a 5MP webcam with an IR emitter to support Windows Hello. The Acer Swift Spin 14 AI will be available in select markets starting in July. Pricing has not been announced.


The Acer Aspire Go 15 also features a 15.6″ 1080p screen, Snapdragon C chip, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, Wi-Fi 6e, equipped with two USB-C ports and one HDMI. It will be sold for $599 each. This is Acer's attempt to offer an affordable Windows 11 laptop that comes with a fanless design.
