The Anker Soundcore Liberty5Pro and 5ProMax have now been launched in Malaysia after being introduced last weekend in the international market. Both of Soundcore's flagship earphones combine premium sound, the latest AI capabilities, and built-in artificial intelligence (AI) functions.
The Anker Soundcore Liberty5Pro Max is the flagship model with 9.2mm drivers made of paper and sheepskin diaphragms. It comes with LDAC support, Soundcore HearID EQ system and Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head tracking. The audio buds have touch support and pass the IP55 sweatproof standard. It can also recognize voice commands such as turning on, skipping music or changing the audio volume level using your voice.
The battery used offers up to 6.5 hours of listening with ANC or up to 28 hours with the help of the charging pod. Charging for just 5 minutes can offer up to 4 hours of usage time. Connection is made using Bluetooth 6.1 and tethering up to 3 devices can be done.
The earphones are equipped with the recently announced Anker Thus AI chip. This chip not only powers the ANC noise cancellation system, EQ and various audio settings, but it also powers the AI Note Taker system that records, transcribes and summarizes meetings, lectures and interviews in real time. According to Anker, the transcription system supports up to 154 languages in total.
Meanwhile, the Anker Soundcore Liberty5Pro is the same earphone except that the screen on the charging pod is only 0.96″, there is no AI Note Taker support and the screen on the pod cannot be changed with the user’s own image.,
The Liberty 5 Pro series is priced at RM699 for the Liberty 5 Pro and RM899 for the Liberty 5 Pro Max, and is available at the Anker Innovations boutique store in IOI City Mall, Kuala Lumpur. Anker Innovation provides an 18-month warranty for this product.
