Earlier this year, ASUS ROG had shown off a number of new products that will be launched throughout the year, including their first AR gaming glasses, the ASUS ROG XReal R1.
It was launched as the world's first pair of AR gaming glasses that use a Micro OLED FHD screen with a refresh rate of 240Hz. When paired with a device like the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally, it becomes a virtual screen of up to 171 inches with a viewing distance of 4 meters.
Other features include a 57-degree viewing angle and a Bose audio system built into the stem. Connections can be made directly using a USB-C cable or via the ROG Control Dock. It has two HDMI 2.0 connections and one DP 1.4 connection. The total weight of the glasses is 91 grams.
Recently, ASUS Malaysia has confirmed that the ROG XReal R1 glasses will enter the Malaysian market by the end of July 2026 at a price of RM4700.
