Discord has finally announced the full implementation of full encryption for voice and video calls, across multiple platforms. This includes desktop, mobile, web, and even via console.
The implementation has been announced for years, and is finally starting to be implemented for everyone.
Discord says that all video and voice calls will now be fully encrypted, making it so that only the caller and the recipient can hear, and cannot be eavesdropped on by others. However, Discord emphasizes that this feature still does not extend to Stage Channels, as it is a public chat feature.
