DJI's new update has caused mixed feelings among users, especially Osmo Pocket 4 owners. This is because through it they confirmed the presence of the Osmo Pocket 4P which will be launched in the global market soon. This means that the Malaysian market will also get its offer in the near future.
It still uses the Osmo DNA but is equipped with a dual camera with support for a 1″ main lens and a 3x optical zoom telephoto. However, no further information was given by DJI but based on the viral specifications, its telephoto lens can have a 70mm focal length, a 1/1.5 inch sensor, 6x "lossless zoom" and up to 12x maximum zoom. In addition, it is believed to be able to record 4K/240fps video and support 14 stops of dynamic range with 10-bit D-Log color.
Other specifications are expected to include a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, built-in ActiveTrack for stabilization, a foldable touchscreen and built-in storage of up to 128GB. The latest status shows that DJI has not yet revealed the official launch date, while some specifications have not been confirmed because they are only based on viral information.
In other developments, those who want to get the Osmo Pocket 4 can do so with prices starting at RM1,999 for the Standard Combo while RM2,599 for the Creator Combo which comes with DJI Mic 3, Pocket 4 Fill Light and several additional accessories.
