Google Fitbit Air Launched Without Screen and Week-Long Battery

Google Fitbit Air was launched as a screen-less health tracker that aims for comfortable all-day wear and a week-long battery. It is lightweight at only 12 grams with a size of 25% smaller than the Fitbit Luxe and 50% smaller than the Fitbit Inspire 3.

Fitbit Air focuses on passive monitoring without buttons or a screen but can still do all-day heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, HRV, can detect signs of AFib through irregular heart rhythm notifications and provides the wearer with a sleep score.

The Fitbit Air body can pass the waterproofing up to 50 meters with a battery that lasts up to a week. A full charge can be done in 90 minutes while a 5-minute charge can last for a day.

Sports and exercise activities such as cycling, running, walking, rowing, elliptical machines and high-intensity sports can be automatically tracked. A total of 40 other activities such as aerobics, yoga, and boxing can be tracked manually. In addition, up to 140 additional activities such as doing housework can also be added for tracking.

Google Fitbit is offered with Performance Loop, Active silicone, and Elevated Modern Band bracelets for $100 each with a free 3-month Google Health Premium subscription.
