Infinix officially introduced the HOT 70 with several interesting offerings. Among the main attractions is the unique Thermo Paint design that makes the color of the back panel change according to the temperature.
For example, the color of the 'Thermo Orange' can change from 'Quiet Orange' when cold to 'Playful Orange' when hot. It is reminiscent of the realme model that also offers similar color-changing capabilities.
According to Infinix, this concept uses 'Dual-way Thermo Sensing Skin' technology which they believe can become a new benchmark in smartphone design.
This finish can change the color tone of the device according to the temperature, for example at temperatures below 0°C the back panel changes to a darker orange while around 65°C it changes to a softer orange.
To complete it, there is an additional physical button One-Tap AI Button for quick access to certain applications or functions while its body comes with a thickness of only 7.49mm and weighs 195g.
Infinix HOT 70 comes with a 6.78″ IPS LCD HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Helio G100 Ultimate chip, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 6000 mAh battery that supports 45W charging.
The main camera consists of a 50MP main sensor on the rear and an 8MP front camera. Video recording that can be done is up to 2K 30FPS. The device is also equipped with stereo speakers, NFC, micro SD card support, side fingerprint scanner, and infrared emitter. The body of the device is also IP65 waterproof.
The operating system used is XOS 16 based on Android 16. Support is provided for 3 versions of Android and 5 years of security patches. The sales price in Malaysia has not been announced although the device has been listed on the official Infinix Malaysia store but in Bangladesh it is sold at a starting price of BDT 18,999 (RM 614) apiece.
