Mark Zuckerberg has now said that Meta may eventually join the cloud computing business market – more or less like Google, Microsoft and Amazon, if their investments in data centers have additional capacity that can be sold.
As many are aware, in parallel with the development of artificial intelligence, various companies are also making high investments in the data center arena. Meta is not left behind, and is ready to make high investments – not to mention that their services are used by billions of users every day in the world.
Mark Zuckerberg stated that they often receive inquiries for API service offerings and cloud computing that can be purchased from them. In addition to this business, Meta has also started offering paid subscription plans for Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram globally.
These steps are seen to make Meta ready to join and diversify their income, while not relying solely on advertising.
