Netflix has now announced that it will be introducing a dedicated timeline for vertical videos on its mobile app earlier this month. Today, Netflix announced that the feature has finally been activated for users in Malaysia.
It is accessed via the “Clips” link in the bottom navigation bar. Clips will display short videos from Netflix content that it feels may be of interest to users to watch the full video. There are links to add the clip content to the list of content to watch or share the link to social media platforms. In the future, Netflix will also include podcast clips, live content and recommendations based on users’ viewing history in the Clips timeline.
Apart from Malaysia, Clips is also accessible to customers in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, India, Pakistan, Philippines and South Africa.
