Along with the Reno16 series, Oppo also introduced the Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen, their first circular secondary display with a magnetic design. This accessory is marketed as the “Playful Selfie Screen” which is compact with a thickness of around 7mm and weighs only 27.5 grams.
The front is equipped with a circular AMOLED touchscreen that can display static background images, moving animations and videos. Users can customize the display with selected images, emojis and decorative themes, making it not only an additional accessory but also a style enhancer on the back panel of the phone. Oppo also added the ability to change the display in rotation and play media on this small screen to make it more fun.
In terms of functionality, the Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen supports remote camera control up to 10 meters while allowing users to preview images and adjust the angle when taking selfies or group photos. It can also be matched with a personal protective frame that supports static or animated displays and can help highlight the user’s identity.
Currently, it is compatible with the Reno16, Reno15, Reno14, Find X8, Find X9, Find X9 Pro and Find X9 Ultra series, with more models expected to receive support later. The accessory is priced at RMB 499 (~RM 291).
