Redmi Buds 8 has also been launched in Malaysia. This product complements two other models in the same series, namely Redmi Buds 8 Pro and Redmi Buds 8 Lite.
Redmi Buds 8 uses a set of 11mm audio drivers with Hi-Res Audio Wireless (LHDC codec) support and offers five adjustable EQ modes. In addition, it is equipped with a Noise Cancellation function of up to 50dB ANC with a range of up to 4kHz, as well as three adaptive levels for different scenarios. Meanwhile, the 3-Mic AI noise reduction system provides clearer calls with wind noise resistance of up to 12m/s.
Quick tethering can be done via Bluetooth 5.4 which supports simultaneous connection of two devices, audio sharing and the Fast Pair function for Android. It also comes with an IP54 rating that is dust and splash resistant.
In terms of battery, it can last up to 11 hours on a single charge while use with the charging pod provides up to 44 hours. A 10-minute quick charge also allows for up to 4 hours of music playback.
