Not only will PlayStation Studios’ single-player games no longer be available on PC, this morning Sony also announced an increase in PlayStation Plus subscription prices in several markets. The new prices will only apply to new customers and for one- and three-month subscriptions.
The markets affected are the United States, the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom. The reason given by Sony is “current market conditions”. Existing customers can still enjoy the subscription prices they paid before. The new subscription rates are as follows and will be effective from tomorrow, May 20.
1 month: $10.99 USD / €9.99 EUR / £7.99 GBP
3 months: $27.99 USD / €27.99 EUR / £21.99 GBP
Market conditions have caused the prices of the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro and PlayStation Portal consoles to be increased in Malaysia earlier this month. The RAM crisis still shows no signs of abating in two years.
