I know many of you don’t want your conversations recorded or read by third parties. The data read can be retraced or used for AI training. This morning Meta launched Incognito Chat on WhatsApp and the Meta AI app. Through it, conversations with Meta AI will be completely private and cannot be read by Meta.
It is built using Private Processing technology, ensuring that conversations cannot be seen by anyone, including Meta itself. WhatsApp insists that they cannot read questions or answers in AI chats because all messages are processed in a secure environment that Meta cannot access.
All conversations are not saved and messages disappear by default. This is different from features in other AI chatbots that save conversation history for use in subsequent conversations. Incognito Chat will be gradually introduced on WhatsApp and the Meta AI app over the coming months.
