The Amazfit Balance series was previously more of a lifestyle watch with fitness features, but the introduction of the Balance 3 is seen as a new option that is more focused on sports. It comes with a 51.4mm frame combined with a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels, a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, protected by sapphire crystal glass and 10ATM waterproof.
The Balance 3 comes with over 180 sports modes including 25 strength training movements and 8 sport-specific movements. It is also equipped with HybridCharge Energy Intelligence technology that balances LifeLoad, BioCharge and Training Load to ensure more consistent performance. Through the Zepp app, various endurance, strength and recovery data are combined into clear and actionable guidance.
The Hybrid Training function offers HYROX race mode, advanced analytics and structured hybrid training plans in one system. This Hybrid Training System combines three layers of data, namely BioCharge (recovery and energy), LifeLoad (daily stress) and Training Load (exercise intensity) into one dashboard that helps athletes determine when to push harder and when to rest.
Balance 3 also supports monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, pressure levels and skin temperature via thermometer and more. The One Tap Measurement function is also provided for user convenience, in addition to a built-in speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calls, NFC support for digital cards and a built-in flashlight with red and white light options for use at night.
Its battery can last up to 21 days to support a consistent training schedule. Balance 3 is offered at a price of $369.99 (~RM1,487) but it is not yet confirmed whether it will be officially sold in Malaysia or otherwise.
