DJI Mic Mini 2S has been officially teased with a launch date set for July 2, 2026 in China before being offered globally. This model is expected to be another interesting version like the previous DJI Mic Mini 2. Although it still maintains the same elements, it is believed to come with improvements, especially in the cosmetic aspect through the new palette options offered.
This can be clearly seen through the diamond-like textured design used on the magnetic cover, different from the empty design of just the color on the Mic Mini 2. Its body shape is still similar to the Mic Mini 2 but comes in a smaller size. Thus, the “S” branding is used to differentiate it from the Mic Mini 2 but it still maintains the capabilities of the original model.
In addition, it comes with 14.5GB of internal storage for continuous audio recording, support for recording in 24-bit or 32-bit formats and recording options in single-channel (mono), 2-channel (stereo) and 4-channel (quad-channel) modes. At the same time, it supports a transmission range of up to 400 meters, equipped with an artificial intelligence (AI)-based noise filter with two levels and sound settings consisting of Standard, Rich and Bright.
The official price has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be higher than the Mic Mini 2. This device was also found through the SIRIM certification site which indicates that Malaysia will also receive its offer later. For now, those interested can get the Mic Mini 2 first with a price starting at RM239 while waiting for the official launch of the Mic Mini 2S.
