Pre-orders for GTA VI can be done this morning with it being sold at RM339 for the regular version and RM419 for the Ultimate Edition. Both versions can only be played starting November 19. As in the previous report, even if the physical version is purchased today, no physical disc is given in the box. Instead, only a download code is received.
If pre-ordered, buyers receive the Vintage Vice City pack and a one-month GTA+ subscription. Vintage Vice City offers retro 1980s GTA Vice City clothing (a la Tommy Vercetti) and several vehicles also with an 80s theme.
The difference between the regular GTA VI version and the Ultimate Edition is various access to clothing, tattoo patterns, vehicles, shops, cosmetics and exclusive missions. The game also only offers solo missions with the new GTA Online version not yet announced when it will be accessible.
After the sale price and game version were announced late last night, Rockstar Games received criticism because the physical version does not include a physical disc. Their action of locking down exclusive outfits, tattoo patterns, vehicles, shops, cosmetics and missions only for the Ultimate Edition is also seen as an attempt to force buyers to buy the more expensive edition.
