Honor is now introducing a smartphone with the largest battery capacity to date in the mainstream device offering market, namely the Honor X80 Pro Max. This smartphone comes with a battery capacity of 11,000mAh – larger than many devices currently competing with battery capacity offerings of around 10,000mAh.
The Honor X80 Pro Max uses a 6.8-inch 1280×2788 LTPS AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. On the camera side, it includes a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, in addition to an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.
Honor focuses on durability and also long battery life through this Honor X80 Pro Max. This 11,000mAh battery can be charged fast wired with 90W support, or 27W wirelessly. Interestingly, Honor also secured a world record certification for this smartphone as the longest-lasting phone on battery power for live streaming viewing – with an endurance of 26 hours, 8 minutes, 34 seconds.
The Honor X80 Pro Max uses the MagicOS 10 operating system based on Android 16, and also includes AI support integration, in addition to NFC support. Completing this smartphone is also IP68, IP69 and IP69K waterproof support.
For now, this smartphone is only listed for sale in China. It is not yet known whether the device with this large capacity battery will be sold globally or not.
