Huawei today introduced the Watch Kids X1 in Malaysia, a series of smartwatches designed specifically for children with an emphasis on safety, health and comfort.
Watch Kids X1 Pro with two models, Standard and Pro. The Standard model is designed with a foldable hinge that can be rotated up to 360 degrees, allowing users to lift or adjust the display angle according to comfort. Meanwhile, the Pro model uses a detachable design with a rotation function. Both are equipped with a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen for a clearer and brighter display.
The basic version of the Watch Kids X1 comes in Blue and Pink color options while the Pro variant is offered in Black and Light Purple. The Standard model is suitable for wrists measuring 115 to 190 millimeters and weighs 70 grams. Meanwhile, the Pro model is designed for wrists measuring 120 to 190 millimeters and weighs 72 grams.
The Watch Kids X1 Pro comes with a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera suitable for selfies, group photos and various other recordings. Interestingly, both models also support the industry's first 110° wide-angle front camera to ensure everyone can fit into the frame more easily.
Among the camera features offered are a timer mode with a choice of 2, 5 or 10 seconds before the recording starts. It also comes with 14 built-in style filters that can be changed instantly and over 100 interesting stickers to add fun to the photos. In addition, this watch supports video calls with AI-based noise cancellation technology and smart filters to ensure clearer communication.
The Huawei Watch Kids X1 series is equipped with a precise positioning system with five modes such as dual-band satellite, dual-band Wi-Fi, sensor assistance and SOS. It also supports real-time monitoring via the FamCare app to allow parents to track their child's location live, set safe zones and receive instant alerts if boundaries are violated.
The watch supports direct video calls between parents and children, complete with call management functions, focus mode schedules, and app usage controls. It also comes with heart rate and emotion monitoring to ensure your child is always in good shape. With an 850mAh battery, it can last up to a day of normal use.
The Huawei Watch Kids X1 is now available in Malaysia for RM999 for the Standard model and RM1599 for the Pro model. Pre-orders start today with gifts worth up to RM808.
