At WWDC earlier this morning, the OS 27 ecosystem was officially announced and Apple showed a list of 256 improvements that will be received when Apple fans begin receiving this latest operating system in just a few months. It is difficult to touch in detail all the updates that will be provided so I will only touch on a few that I find interesting in iOS 27 first.
First of all, it is about Liquid Glass which after almost a year of being announced is still a subject of controversy. Some love it and some feel that it makes the iPhone feel slow. Therefore, in iOS 27, Liquid Glass is given a feature to be changed according to the owner's convenience. The level of light transparency is given and not just the Liquid and Tinted options offered by iOS 26.1
The application icons have been improved to look sharper and clearer. Apple added that the launch of applications is now up to 30% faster and for hardcore AirDrop users, the file transfer process is 80% faster. For users of older iPhone models, iOS 27 will be more responsive because it is optimized with better CPU usage features.
Another new feature that will surely please those who have two iPhones is the ability to use one phone number on two devices. This is possible via eSIM where two iPhones can access only one phone number. There is no longer a need to have two active SIMs.
Next, for women, perimenopause and menopause symptoms can be logged in the Health app. Several new language support and keyboards for new languages are also introduced. The list can be read below.
There are also specific features in certain countries only. In China, for example, alarms will not ring in the morning on public holidays in that country. Speaking of alarms, their volume level can now be distinguished from the system audio volume.
All devices that receive iOS 26 will receive iOS 27. This means that iPhone 11 owners and above will be able to access the majority of the new features announced next September.
The full list of 256 improvements provided through the update to OS 27 is as follows.
New keyboards for languages include Afrikaans, Basque, Baybayin, English (Filipino), Galician, Guarani, Luxembourgish, Xhosa, Slovenian, Estonian and Zulu.

Faster multilingual text processing for handwriting in multiple languages

Multilingual grammar checker
Improved conversion from phonetic scripts like Pinyin and Kana when typing in Simplified Chinese and Japanese
Natural time formats for Chinese and Hindi
