The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is now entering the Malaysian market with a number of improvements compared to its previous generation. Key highlights include a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip, a 12.1-inch 2.5K resolution LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a JBL audio system and a large capacity battery.
The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a 12.1″ 2.5K resolution LCD screen, a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, and a brightness level of up to 800 nits. It also comes with a kickstand that can be rotated 360 degrees. With this capability, users can choose various viewing positions, allowing the tablet to be used more freely either in a vertical or horizontal position.
The tablet also offers a JBL audio system with nine speaker units that come with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio support. In addition, it comes with a Bluetooth speaker mode that allows the tablet to function as a standalone speaker for streaming audio from other devices.
Its mainstay is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (with microSD card support expandable up to 2TB). In addition, it is also equipped with a 13MP main camera along with an 8MP front camera for selfies.
A 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support is also provided with a 68W USB-C charging head offered as an optional accessory. In addition, this tablet is also compatible with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, Lenovo wireless keyboard and a special bag for easy carrying anywhere.
Not to be missed, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 also integrates AI-based features such as Lenovo AI Live Transcript for real-time translation, Lenovo Smarter Reader for a better reading experience, and AI Notes with Lenovo Notepad for more organized note taking. This tablet will be offered in Malaysia starting September 2026 with prices starting at RM2,099.
