Lytia L910 Launched – Sony’s First LOFIC Sensor

Sony has officially launched the Sony Lytia L910 camera sensor, which is the first to use LOFIC technology. LOFIS stands for Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor which reduces the effects of overexposure in high light situations and noise in low light situations.

It can also take photos in HDR mode with just one shot instead of several photos that are later combined. The result is HDR images that look sharper and clearer. Sony says that HDR 100 dB is possible with Triple Conversion Gain (TCG-HDR) technology.

The sensor is 50 MP with a physical size of 1/1.28 inches. Noise reduction is up to 30%. Video recording capabilities are up to 4K HDR 60 fps. This sensor will start being used in devices after the summer. Rumors say that the first two devices with Sony Lytia L910 are Vivo X500 and Oppo Find X10.
