Honda Malaysia has officially revived an iconic name that automotive enthusiasts miss with the launch of the All-New Honda Prelude. This sixth-generation model made its debut at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026) and is offered at a price of RM278,000.
The All-New Honda Prelude is designed as a modern grand tourer that combines driving pleasure, premium comfort, and everyday practicality. Its refined design can be seen in the black chrome grille, LED headlights, LED combi taillights with red lenses, and flush-type door handles. This dynamic appearance is then further enhanced with blue accents on the bumper, 19-inch aluminum rims, and blue Brembo brake calipers.
In terms of performance, the All-New Prelude is powered by an advanced 2.0L e:HEV powertrain that produces 184PS and 315Nm of torque for smooth and efficient power delivery. Interestingly, this model is the first in Honda Malaysia’s lineup to introduce S+ Shift Technology, a motor-driven hybrid system that precisely controls engine RPM during acceleration and deceleration to provide more direct driving feedback and sharper gear changes.
To ensure a stable and confident ride, this vehicle adopts key chassis technologies from the Type R performance model, including a dual-axis strut suspension at the front and an Adaptive Damper System. The stability of this machine when cornering or avoiding obstacles is also enhanced by the Agile Handling Assist (AHA) feature.
