The Oppo Enco Air5s is Oppo's first semi-in-ear earphones equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Typically, semi-in-ear earphones are lighter and more comfortable to wear for long periods of time, but their open design makes it difficult to offer effective ANC.
This smart ANC uses Real-time Adaptive Noise Cancellation technology that adjusts the level of noise cancellation according to the shape of the ear and the environment. The Adaptive Sound Enhancement system also helps by reducing ambient noise, thus reducing conversation interruptions in public places. The earphones are also equipped with 12mm audio drivers with clear bass, vocals, and treble.
The earphones are also equipped with an EQ system that allows users to adjust the sound to their taste. Quick connections can be made via Bluetooth 6.0 with Dual Connection function, allowing switching between devices without having to reconnect. It also offers smart features such as volume control, voice assistant support, Spotify Tap, and AI Translate for real-time translation.
The battery used can last 48 hours with the help of a charging pod. The earphones also have an IP55 rating for protection against dust and splashes of water. The Oppo Enco Air5s is available in Lunar White, Midnight Black and Starlight Purple colour options. It is now open for pre-order in Malaysia and will also be launched on July 8 alongside the Oppo Reno16 series.
