Sennheiser also now offers the Sennheiser Accentum Clip earbud-type earphones. With this, Sennheiser also does not want to miss out on offering a type of earphone that last year recorded an 87% increase in sales compared to the previous year according to the Smart Analytics Global (SAG) Wearable 360 report.
The earbud earphone design is popular because it still allows ambient sound to be heard unlike the usual TWS with ANC. The Accentum Clip is equipped with 12mm audio drivers that Sennheiser says offer smooth treble and powerful bass. Each earbud is made of plastic with a silicone connection. Despite being an earbud-type, the Accentum Clip still has a noise cancellation system.
Each one weighs 6.8g and passes the IP54 waterproof and dustproof standard. There is a touch pad to control the audio volume, play music and answer phone calls. It also offers a usage life of up to 9 hours or up to 36 more hours with the storage pod.
Connection is via Bluetooth 6.0 with support for SBC, AAC and LDAC codecs alongside Hi-Res resolution audio. On Android devices, easy tethering via Google Fast Pair is supported along with support for tethering to more than one device simultaneously.
The Sennheiser Accentum Clip will be available in China first before going global with a retail price of CAD 270 (~RM 787) per pair in black and cream.
