Siri AI Announced With Enhanced Capabilities, Smarter, and Its Own App

After months of leaks about its development, Siri AI was finally officially announced at WWDC 2026. As previously reported, Siri AI is a virtual assistant Siri with enhanced capabilities using artificial intelligence (AI).

Siri AI focuses on deeper conversations, better system integration, and cross-platform capabilities. It can now have continuous, contextual conversations, just like Gemini has been able to do for a while now. This is certainly not surprising since the AI used by Siri AI now uses the Gemini base model.

It can access real-time world knowledge and users' personal data across multiple apps. This is a feature that Siri has been promised since the iPhone 16, which was delayed several times. Users can call Siri for flight tickets in an email or concert phone numbers taken from posters. Siri AI's capabilities are now on par with Google Personal Intelligence, which has been available on the Pixel and Galaxy S26 since January.

Integration with Dynamic Island was also introduced by appearing in its own “balloon” to interact with users. Not to mention the Siri voice model was also given a new lease of life so that it sounded more natural and expressive, replacing the previously somewhat robotic voice. Users can set their own speed and slang for Siri to speak with several voice models offered.

With the dedicated Siri AI application, users can see all past conversation history to review. This eliminates the need to ask multiple times because conversations are listed chronologically.

Siri AI can be accessed on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. It can be used in Beta version but only in the United States and in English at this time.
