SpaceX today announced it will acquire Cursor for $60 billion. This announcement comes just days after SpaceX's public listing, which is now valued at over $2 trillion.
For your information, Cursor and SpaceX have previously announced a partnership, and at that time SpaceX itself was given the option to acquire Cursor. Now, with the acquisition of Cursor, it will allow the team to better integrate with the artificial intelligence division, while at the same time improving the Grok and xAI offerings.
Cursor is already known for offering facilities for organizing and using artificial intelligence-powered systems. It was founded in 2022, and has grown rapidly in the past year or two.
