DENZA Malaysia today officially launched the DENZA Z9GT, marking the debut of the smart luxury Grand Tourer (GT) model for the Asia Pacific market with a starting price of RM358,800.
The Z9GT is built on BYD’s advanced e3 Platform powered by a tri-motor all-wheel drive system. This exceptional powertrain produces 850 kW (1,156 PS) and 1,210 Nm of torque, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds with an electric driving range of up to 701 km (NEDC).
The model is among the first to be equipped with BYD’s Second Generation Blade Battery with a capacity of 122.49 kWh and a 1,000V high-voltage architecture. Fully supporting BYD’s Lightning Charging Technology, the battery offers an impressive ultra-fast charging capability, taking just 5 minutes to charge from 10% to 70%, and 9 minutes from 10% to 97%.
Moving into the cabin, it offers a luxurious space equipped with a 20-speaker Devialet® audio system, built-in smart connectivity with Google, and exclusive premium interior trim options. On the exterior, buyers can choose between Rime Gold or Obsidian Black colors that match the aesthetic-themed interior design.
