DJI Mic Mini 2S is a more advanced version of the previous Mic Mini 2 with a focus on high-quality recording and better integration with DJI cameras.
In terms of basic audio, both still maintain 48kHz/24-bit quality. However, Mic Mini 2S offers the addition of 32-bit floating-point recording that is capable of capturing sound more clearly without breaking. It is also equipped with up to 14.5GB of internal storage that allows for up to 28 hours of repeated recording, as well as support for up to four simultaneous transmitters in mono or stereo mode.
Mic Mini 2S comes with a smarter AI Noise Reduction feature with two levels, namely Weak Noise Reduction for indoor use and Strong Noise Reduction for noisy outdoor environments. In addition, it also offers three sound style profiles, namely Default, Full and Bright.
Mic Mini 2S can also connect directly to DJI cameras such as Osmo Pocket and Osmo Action via Bluetooth without the need for an additional receiver. In terms of battery life, it can last up to 40 hours with the help of a charging pod with an audio connection distance of up to 400 meters.
In China, the DJI Mic Mini 2S is offered in several sales packages. Among them are a receiver with two transmitters along with a charging pod for RMB1,199 (~RM718), a one-to-one package for RMB629 (~RM377), and a portable package for phones for the same price. In addition, a single transmitter is sold for RMB399 (~RM239), while a special edition magnetic cover is offered for RMB199 (~RM119).
