Get ready for another new product from Meta. Now, they have started testing Meta Pocket, an AI-based social app that allows users to create interesting mini-games just by typing text commands.
Each command will be generated by AI and automatically converted into code, before being used to build small apps that can be played and shared with the community. For example, if you type in a command, ‘make an obstacle jumping game with a cat character’, Pocket’s AI system will convert the command into code and then produce a simple game that can be played.
According to TechCrunch, Pocket has actually been listed on the App Store and Google Play since June 29, 2026 but is not yet available for download in most countries. This also shows that Pocket is part of Meta’s efforts to make AI-based apps more widespread. Meta has also added AI features to its social apps, including the Edits app.
Since Meta has not made an official announcement about the launch of Pocket, it is likely that this app is still in the early testing phase. This is also in line with the company’s strategy of usually testing products quietly before a global launch.
